Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership

UIndy’s Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership offered through the Department of Sociology is designed for individuals who seek to enhance their leadership skills in the area of nonprofits and other community organizations.

Nonprofits and other community organizations need leaders who can put their experiences into practice and who can think in structural ways about the big picture. This graduate certificate offers a sociological understanding of community-specific and societal issues that will prepare you to think in new and innovative ways and build your expertise in problem-solving. Additionally, students who want to continue to build their credentials can apply all courses which have been successfully completed for this certificate to an MA in Applied Sociology.
