Title IX/Sexual Misconduct Support, Resources, and Prevention

At the University of Indianapolis, we are dedicated to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where all students can thrive. We recognize that sexual misconduct, in any form, threatens the well-being of individuals and the integrity of our learning community. This page offers information and resources related to Title IX/Sexual Misconduct, including guidance, support services, and educational tools to help students understand their rights, access assistance, and contribute to a campus culture of respect and accountability.

We're Here for You

At the University of Indianapolis, your safety, well-being, and sense of belonging matter. Whether you're seeking help for yourself, supporting a friend, or just want to better understand your options, we’re here to make sure you have access to care and resources.

We know that navigating situations involving sexual misconduct, harassment, or relationship concerns can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to go through it alone. You deserve to feel safe, heard, and respected, and our community is committed to providing the support you need to thrive both personally and academically.

Here’s what support can look like:

  • Help managing the impact of something that happened — even if it occurred off-campus or before you came to UIndy
  • Adjustments to your daily life to help you feel safer and more supported (housing, class schedules, campus access, etc.)
  • Connections to counseling, advocacy, or medical careClear information about your rights and options, without pressure to take any specific action

Whether you want to talk to someone confidentially, learn how to support a friend, or explore your rights under Title IX, this page is a starting point. We’re here to listen and support you — always.

In accordance with Title IX regulations, the University has a designated Title IX Coordinator. Questions regarding Title IX may be directed to this person, who is responsible for receiving complaints of sexual harassment, including sexual assault, sexual violence or other sexual misconduct for the entire university community.

If You or Someone You Know Needs Support

For more information on and off campus support, your rights, and your options, review the UIndy Victim’s Rights and Options through My UIndy.

Reporting Options

If you’ve experienced or witnessed sexual misconduct, harassment, discrimination, or other concerning behavior, you have the option to submit a report to the University. Reporting helps the university connect individuals with support, provide appropriate resources, and take action when needed to maintain a safe and respectful community.

You can choose to share as much or as little information as you're comfortable with (anonymous reporting is available to non-mandatory reporters). Submitting a report does not automatically begin a formal investigation — it’s a way to open the door to support, ask questions, or explore your options.

PACT: Prevent. Act. Care. Transform.

Protect the Pack. Live the PACT.

PACT is the University of Indianapolis’s student-focused sexual misconduct prevention and education initiative, led by the Title IX Office. Through education, outreach, and community engagement, PACT empowers students to help create a campus where respect, accountability, and safety are the standard.

PACT encourages all Greyhounds to:

  • Prevent harm through education
  • Act when something doesn’t feel right
  • Care for the Greyhound community
  • Transform campus culture

Through workshops, peer-led programs, bystander training, and community campaigns, PACT helps students recognize concerning behaviors, build skills to intervene, and support a culture where everyone can thrive.
