About Adult Learning Bachelor's Degree Programs
UIndy's accelerated programs meet one night a week. Classes are offered in the fall and spring semesters as well as during the summer.
Most classes are three credit hours. It takes 120 credit hours, or 40 to 45 courses, to earn a bachelor's degree, so it's possible to complete a bachelor's degree in as little as two to three years.
Key components of these programs include Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Portfolio Portfolio and college credit by examination. You may receive up to 30 credit hours for what you've learned from your life and work experiences through PLA Portfolios. In addition, you can take many local and national tests for college credit, exemption or placement.
