Graduate Certificate in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

Build a culture of inclusive excellence.

UIndy’s Graduate Certificate in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) offered through the Department of Sociology is designed for individuals who seek to enhance their knowledge and skills in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Small class sizes and an interdisciplinary approach rooted in an understanding of societal inequality make this the ideal program for those looking to build their knowledge around DEIB as well as enhance their skills in creating and leading diverse, inclusive workplaces and organizations. Additionally, students who want to continue building their credentials can apply all courses that have been successfully completed for this certificate to an MA in Applied Sociology.
