Applied Social Research Graduate Certificate

Build your research skills.

UIndy’s Applied Social Research Graduate Certificate offered through the Department of Sociology is designed for individuals who seek to improve and expand their data collection, data analysis, and general social research skills, particularly for professional development and career advancement.

Many organizations gather data, but they do not always know how to maximize the potential of these opportunities and this information. Being able to collect, analyze, and put high-quality research into action allows organizations to best serve the community. This certificate paves the way for this level of expertise. Additionally, students who want to continue to build their credentials can apply all courses which have been successfully completed for this certificate to an MA in Applied Sociology.
