Welcome Week 2017 will start on Wednesday, Aug. 23 with new student move-in and will run through Sunday, Aug. 27. The first day of classes for the Fall 2017 semester is Monday, Aug. 28.
Welcome Week is a fun week designed to help you make a successful transition to college, meet new friends and connect with the University before classes start. Events and programming are meant for both new, incoming freshmen, as well as new transfer students. By working with upper class Orientation Leaders and Guides, you will have an opportunity to learn about the social, cultural and academic life at our University. Some components of Welcome Week have required attendance, so be sure to plan ahead.
