The Counseling Center adheres to a strict policy of confidentiality, following the ethical guidelines set forth by the state of Indiana and the American Psychological Association. During your first appointment, your counselor will personally review confidential policies with you.
During the business day, in addition to regular appointments, the Student Counseling Center has walk-in/crisis hours available for students who may be experiencing a mental health crisis. Those students will complete a brief triage assessment that allows counseling staff to determine the best course of treatment.
