Applicant Non-Discrimination Policy

The University of Indianapolis is a welcoming and inclusive environment and is committed to providing a safe living, learning and working environment for all its community members. Actions and behavior that are aligned with ideologies that may impede equity and inclusivity are not tolerated by the University.  For students who display such behavior the University reserves the right to deny admission/enrollment/re-enrollment and to deny admission to  campus housing. 

The University fosters an environment ensuring respect, support, and safety for all members of the campus community.  Equity and diversity are at the center of the University’s values, and people of all races, origins, and religions are welcomed and valued equally.   While the University welcomes and respects different viewpoints and perspectives, the University works proactively and intentionally to confront structural racism, as individuals and as a collective. The University reserves the right to deny enrollment or readmission and on-campus housing to applicants whose actions and behaviors are deemed racist or exhibit racial behavior that conflicts with the University’s commitment to equity and inclusion.
