Paying your bill

The Office of Student Billing and Payment bills and collects tuition, fees, and campus housing and other University-related charges. UIndy uses an electronic billing and payment system. This system allows students and their approved authorized users to view, print and pay University charges.

Current Student Log In to the E-Bill System

Logging into UIndy's electronic billing system is simple. Current students will need two pieces of information to log on to the system: 

  • UIndy Username 

  • Password

 

Former Student Log In to the E-Bill System

Former students will need two pieces of information to log on to the system: 

  • UIndy Student ID Number.  

  • Six digit pin number.

Authorized Users

Students may grant access to an authorized user, usually a parent or guardian, which will allow the user to view, print and pay their UIndy bills. Access is granted and maintained by the student and can be granted or removed at any time. Please note that the University cannot, under any circumstance, confirm, grant, revoke, or modify an authorized user on a student's behalf. 

Pay Your Bill / E-Bill Instructions

Paying your UIndy bills is easy using UIndy’s electronic bill payment system. Both students and authorized users will receive UIndy bills via email. Students should expect to receive their UIndy bills in their UIndy.edu email account inbox and authorized users will receive the UIndy bills in the email inbox that was used when their authorized user status was set up.  

  • Fall semester billing statements will be emailed in early July. Payment is due in early August.
  • Spring semester billing statements will be emailed in late November. Payment is due in mid-December.
  • Summer billing statements will be emailed in mid-April. Due to the unique nature of the UIndy summer term, payment is due before the start date of each session.
  • During each term billing statements will be emailed weekly until the term begins. After the term begins bills will be e-mailed monthly on or about the 15th of each month.

Payment Plans

Payment for tuition, fees, and other University charges is due in full by the published payment date. However, the UIndy Office of Billing and Payment offers interest-free payment plan options to students and their families to assist in paying the entire balance.

Certain populations of students may enroll in a 5-month or 4-month payment plan if the balance due is $100 or more. Students or authorized users can see which payment plans are available for their account and apply using the UIndy electronic bill system. 

Please note: 

  1. The University of Indianapolis reserves the right to refuse credit to students with a poor payment history.
  2. For summer classes, a 3-month payment plan or a 2-Payment Plan is available.

5-MONTH PAYMENT PLAN

This program provides for 5 equal payments beginning on July 10 (Semester I*) or December 10 (Semester II). 

  • Installments are due on the tenth of each month.
  • Prior term balances may not be included in this payment plan.
  • This plan is not available for summer enrollment.
  • Any additional charges incurred or financial aid awarded after enrollment will adjust the final payment amount.
  • *The deadline to enroll for Semester I is July 20. If enrolling after July 10th your first payment will be due upon enrollment and your second payment due on August 10. 

 

4-MONTH PAYMENT PLAN

This program provides for 4 equal payments beginning on August 10 (Semester I) or January 10 (Semester II).

  • Installments are due on the tenth of each month.
  • Prior term balances may not be included in this payment plan.
  • Set up the plan before the bill due date.
  • This plan is not available for summer enrollment.
  • Any additional charges incurred or financial aid awarded after enrollment will adjust the final payment amount.

 

summer 3-month PAYMENT PLAN

This program provides for 3 equal payments beginning on May 1. 

  • Installments are due on the first of each month.
  • Prior term balances may not be included in this payment plan.
  • Set up the plan before the bill due date.
  • This plan is only available for summer enrollment.
  • Any additional charges incurred or financial aid awarded after enrollment will adjust the final payment amount.

 

summer 2-PAYMENT PLAN

This program provides for 2 equal payments. 

  • One half of the student's account balance is due upon enrollment. The remaining balance is due about 4 weeks after the Summer term begins.
  • Prior term balances may not be included in this payment plan.
  • This plan is only available for summer enrollment.
  • Any additional charges incurred or financial aid awarded after enrollment will adjust the final payment amount.
