Business Student Organizations

Through UIndy's School of Business, you can get involved in several clubs and student organizations that help you gain valuable professional experience and connect with other students who share your interests.

Student Business Leadership Academy

The Student Business Leadership Academy (SBLA) connects students to business professionals through internships, campus events, business dinners and other personal growth opportunities. SBLA is unique in that it functions more like a business, rather than a general student club or organization, to help its members gain insight into the way businesses operate. SBLA strives to develop student leaders by building business, social, organizational, behavioral and leadership skills through mentorship, opportunity and service.

BizHounds

BizHounds is UIndy's student organization for freshmen business students. All freshmen business majors can join this organization that helps new students adjust to all aspects of college life by connecting them with experienced business students who serve as mentors.

Academic Clubs

UIndy's School of Business also has several clubs that focus on particular academic areas, including accounting, economics, entrepreneurship (UIenterprise), finance, marketing and operations & supply chain (APICS). These organizations give you a chance to further connect with students in your major and professionals in the field.

Other ways to get involved

Team Business

Team Business is the student employment program within UIndy's School of Business. It offers students unique on-campus employment opportunities that go well beyond a typical "student worker" job by providing significant professional development experiences.

Student Employment and Internship Team (SEAiT)

The Student Employment and Internship Team, also known as SEAiT, focuses on developing relationships with area employers and finding and preparing business students for internships and full-time job opportunities within those organizations.
