Business Majors & Minors
UIndy's School of Business offers 11 majors covering all aspects of business. Classes are taught by top-notch faculty with decades of experience—not just in teaching, but in working in their fields. The real-world experience they bring to the classroom helps them develop courses that will prepare you to enter the business world after graduation.
Minors are available in several areas: accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, information systems & applied business analytics, marketing and operations & supply chain management. UIndy also is the only school in Indiana to offer an entrepreneurship minor to non-business majors. A minor helps compliment your major by providing additional knowledge in another area of business and allows you to learn more about another subject that interests you. To minor in a specific subject, you have to take 18-21 credit hours (about six or seven classes) in that subject. Minors are required for business administration majors.
UIndy's School of Business offers associate degrees in business administration and information systems & applied business analytics. These programs require a minimum of 62 credit hours that include University general education core classes, business core classes and electives. You can complete an associate degree program in two years by following the recommended curriculum guide.
