About the UIndy MBA Program
So, you’re ready to get your MBA. But with new MBA programs popping up on every corner, it’s hard to know which one is best for you and will help you most in your career. Choosing a high quality program that fits into your schedule shouldn’t be harder than getting the degree, right? When considering all of your options, consider this about UIndy:
At UIndy, many of our faculty boast decades of experience—not just in teaching, but in working in their respective fields. They’ve been in your shoes, and they know what it takes to succeed. This real-world experience makes them better prepared to arm you with the tools you need to advance in your career.
Our faculty want you to succeed, both in the classroom and on the job. Faculty often give students their home or cell phone numbers and encourage students to contact them with questions. They also understand that most students have outside work and family responsibilities, so they'll work with you if you need to miss a class. And, our average class size of about 20 students is great for getting the most out of each course and networking with classmates.
UIndy is accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP, for institutions whose primary focus is teaching), and is a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). UIndy is ranked “Top Tier in its class” by U.S. News & World Report and “Top Tier in part-time MBA programs” by CEO Magazine. UIndy’s MBA program also was the first in the country to receive the Baldrige Quality Standard Award by the ACBSP.
Programs to fit your schedule
UIndy offers several convenient ways to get your MBA, including evening, Saturday, and off-campus options, so there’s sure to be a program that fits your schedule. Our programs are designed for working adults, so we understand the importance of being flexible.
“Many professionals think about work and life balance on a daily basis. To add an MBA to the mix can be very intimidating. Choosing UIndy was the best decision I made. The UIndy program thinks about each student as an individual, not a number.”
UIndy is conveniently located ten minutes south of downtown, with easy access from both I-65 and I-465. We are a 30-minute drive or less from most communities in the metro area. In addition to classes on campus, UIndy currently offers off-campus cohort programs in Carmel and Fishers, with plans for additional off-site programs.
UIndy has one of the area’s oldest MBA programs, with nearly 40 years of experience under our belts. Though we’ve firmly established ourselves as one of the top MBA programs in the area, we’re also constantly monitoring and updating our curriculum to meet the needs of the current business professional.
Students from all backgrounds
Students in our program range in age from early 20s to early 60s, with most between the ages of 30 and 40. Students come from all different career and education backgrounds and fewer than 35 percent have an undergraduate degree in business, meaning students bring a variety of experiences and ideas with them to class discussions and projects.
