Being a history major at UIndy, I learned skills that have been instrumental in my success as a law student. The professors are phenomenal at teaching various methods to analyze problems, argument development, and how to read with purpose. All of these skills are valuable and highly transferable to any profession.

This process not only deepens their understanding of history but also hones their research and analytical skills. Our commitment to excellence in research is reflected in our students’ quality work. Many UIndy students have won the Indiana Historical Bureau’s Bennett-Tinsley Award for History Research.
