Alumni Services & Benefits
Alumni Education Program
UIndy offers graduates the opportunity to enroll in one free undergraduate course per semester through its Alumni Education Program. Alumni may attend, without charge, most undergraduate classes. The Registrar and the instructor must grant approval, and space in the class must be available. No credit will be awarded for alumni participating in this program.
Due to space limitations, commonly excluded courses include art studio, computers, modern languages and music instruction. Interested alumni must contact the Registrar's office at 317-788-3504 at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.
Campus library card
UIndy alumni can obtain a library card for borrowing privileges at Krannert Memorial Library. To obtain your card, fill out the online library card form or stop by the Alumni Relations office, located in the Stierwalt Alumni House.
Transcripts
Current and former students can order their transcripts online via the National Student Clearinghouse. UIndy now offers official transcripts via secure electronic PDF for students who attended in 1987 or later.
For more information please call 317-788-3219, or 1-800-232-8634 or visit the Registrar's website for hours of operation and full fee information.
Please note: To receive a copy of your official transcript, you must complete and sign any required forms, pay any associated transcript fee(s), and satisfy all financial obligations to the University, including fees or fines owed to the Office of Student Billing and Payment, Campus Police, Library and Health Center. If you have any past balance due with any of these offices, there will be a "hold" on your record and we will not be able to issue your transcript. The University does not accept email or telephone requests for transcripts. It is a violation of FERPA law to release a transcript without the student's written authorization.
UIndy Archives
The Frederick D. Hill Archives collects, organizes, preserves and makes available for research the official University records that present an historical, legal, fiscal, or administrative enduring value. These records include any and all documentation in any form created or received by administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, benefactors and donors. The Archives is a valuable tool that also features searchable databases on Portico, Alumni News and The Reflector.
