It's time to start thinking about summer!

It's time to start thinking about summer!

Even though winter’s chill has settled in, it’s time to start thinking about summer! UIndy will offer a variety of classes and programs during Summer 2015, including more than 200 classes in a variety of disciplines.

Taking summer classes can help you stay on track to graduate in four years. If you’re a student at another college or university, taking courses that will transfer back to your school will help you accomplish this closer to home. And, the summer term is shorter, so you’ll have more time for other activities.

See how summer classes at UIndy can benefit you!

UIndy Athletics issues year-long Champions Challenge

UIndy’s student athletes have had an outstanding year! The Greyhounds seek to flex their muscles even more and be counted among the elite in Division II athletics. To help us accomplish that goal, we’ll be raising funds to support our athletics programs through the Champions Challenge. A generous donor has pledged $250,000 in matching gifts. All new, unrestricted gifts to UIndy Athletics of $25 or more will qualify for a 2:1 match. The match also applies to any increase in unrestricted giving of $25 or more over last year’s gifts. Renewed gifts will be matched 1:1.

Health Pavilion construction

Construction on UIndy’s new Health Pavilion is progressing quickly. The steel frame of the 160,000-square-foot building, which will house UIndy’s respected health sciences programs, is now complete. The final structural beam spent nearly two weeks in the Schwitzer Student Center atrium for the UIndy community to sign before it was put in place during a Topping Out ceremony. Crews are now working to enclose the building, which is scheduled to open in August.
