University Series 2009-2010

Individually and collectively, the lectures, programs and special events that are part of the University Series foster discussions among students, faculty, staff and the University community on the university-learning goal of Social Responsibility for the academic year. These engaging conversations will help us all to achieve a broader understanding of Social Responsibility and assist each of us to define our own personal sense of mission to "do good".

The theme of "Doing Good" resonates with the campus-community, conjuring thoughts of service to others as the university’s motto, "Education for Service", instructs us. In 2009-2010 the events of the series will explore how we are able to "do good" through our academic disciplines, through our chosen careers and business endeavors, as well as through music, the arts, and our faith.
