Students may have needs not described here. Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) will make every effort to provide reasonable and appropriate accommodations according to Sec. 504 and ADA guidelines.
Students are responsible for making those needs known to SSD and providing appropriate documentation. Students concerned with mobility or orientation to campus should discuss their needs with SSD.
The University of Indianapolis does not provide personal attendants, individually prescribed devices, readers for personal use or study, or other personal devices or services. SSD can refer students to appropriate resources in the community.
Baccalaureate for University of Indianapolis Learning Disabled (BUILD) is a comprehensive, fee-for-service program designed to support UIndy students with a specific learning disability. For more information, visit the BUILD website.
