Leadership Development Series

The Coaching Clinic®

Jack Needham leads the Coaching Clinic

Jack Needham leads the Coaching Clinic.

Coaching has emerged as a major trend because it works! Many organizations have adopted “coaching” as a catch phrase, meaning anything from performance improvement and management to delegation skills, or even how to deliver criticism. The Coaching Clinic® provides executives, managers and supervisors with a consistent set of skills and understanding aimed at improving both business and personal performance.

The program provides a toolbox of skills that managers and other leaders can apply immediately. While most other programs are theoretical, with a few listening and feedback skills tossed in, the Coaching Clinic® is much more skill-based, offering you a repertoire of techniques to choose from. By developing these skills and techniques, you will know what to do when “the rubber meets the road.” This means increased employee retention and real behavior change for you as well as your employees.

The Coaching Clinic® will help you:

  • support ongoing, just-in-time continuous learning
  • enhance organization-wide communication
  • develop employee competencies necessary for teamwork, leadership and high performance
  • increase creativity
  • enhance employee morale, loyalty and motivation
  • support diversity and provide effective mentoring
  • build a self-reliant workforce
  • maximize the productivity of valuable human resources

This one-day Coaching Clinic® at UIndy includes eight hours of classroom discussion, working lunch, workbook and guide, Jack Needham’s book Stop Fixing, Start Leading! and two 30-minute personal coaching sessions with the instructor.
