Organizational Leadership Degree

Degree Requirements:

  1. The degree requires a minimum of 124 credit hours. 
  2. A grade of C- (1.7 on a 4.0 scale) or higher is required in all courses applying toward the organizational leadership major. 
  3. A grade point average of C- (1.7 on a 4.0 scale) or higher is required in the General Education core curriculum.
  4. You must take the last 30 hours of coursework at UIndy to obtain a degree from UIndy.
  5. You must take at least one-third of the hours required in your major at UIndy.
  6. A cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) is required to continue in the Accelerated Programs Division. Students who fall below 2.50 may enroll in the Extended Programs Division until such time as the minimum GPA is restored.

* You must test into MATH108 by achieving a minimum required score on the Math Placement Exam, or by first taking and passing SAL280, Topics in Math.

** The orientation course SAL101, Return to Learning, is required of all new students and must be taken in the first semester of enrollment.

*** A minimum score on the English Placement Examination is required for placement in ENGL101, English Composition. Students who do not achieve the minimum score must first take ENGL100, Basic Writing.

Not all courses are available in an accelerated format; however, students may complete all degree requirements with accelerated courses. Some courses listed above have prerequisites; this means you must take another course or courses first.
