Institute for Leadership & Professional Development

The Institute for Leadership & Professional Development provides leadership training for working adults.

The School for Adult Learning at the University of Indianapolis has been serving Indiana businesses for almost 60 years by providing a variety of continuing education programs. The Institute for Leadership and Professional Development provides relevant and practical training that allows adults to develop and enhance their leadership skills.

The Institute offers the following training opportunities:

Supervisory Institute

The Supervisory Institute is an intensive two-day seminar that enhances the knowledge and skills needed by both new and experienced managers and supervisors. Participants leave with practical solutions to implement in their workplace. Register today for an upcoming seminar held on our campus, or contact the School for Adult Learning to learn how we can create a customized institute for your organization.

Leadership Development Series

Throughout the year, the Institute offers various workshops to promote leadership skills. One such workshop is The Coaching Clinic®, which will be offered in May and November. The workshops provide real-world case studies and workplace applications, so whether you're a new supervisor or seasoned manager, you'll leave with an action plan that you can implement in your own organization.
