Degree Requirements for Undergraduate Programs

  • Each degree requires a minimum of 120 credit hours. 
  • A grade point average of C- (1.7 on a 4.0 scale) or higher is required in all courses applying toward the Digital Media Management major.
  • A grade point average of 2.50 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) is required to continue in the Accelerated Programs Division. Students who fall below 2.50 may enroll in extended programs until such time as the minimum GPA is restored.
Please note:
  • You must test into MATH 108 by achieving the minimum required score on the SAL Math Proficiency Examination, or by taking SAL 280, Topics in Math.
  • The course SAL 101, Return to Learning, is required of all new SAL students and must be taken in the first semester of enrollment.
  • A minimum score on the English Placement Examination is required for placement in ENGL 101, English Composition. Students who do not achieve the minimum score must first take ENGL 100, Basic Writing.
