Policies and procedures contained in University handbooks and guidebooks supersede any and all prior practices, written documents, representations, or statements on the same subject matter. The University of Indianapolis expressly revokes any and all previous policies and procedures that are inconsistent with those contained in its handbooks and guidebooks. The University of Indianapolis reserves the right to change the content set forth in its handbooks and duidebooks, and any and all policies stated in them are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of the University. In addition to the policies contained in these handbooks and guidebooks, students, faculty and staff are subject to applicable university-wide policies found on the policies website.
Students, Faculty and Academics
The Student, Faculty and Academics section contains administrative policy and procedure documents that relate to student life at the university, as well as policies governing the University's academic and faculty issues. Subjects include, but are not limited to, student leaves, student misconduct and the quality of campus life for all students.
The Safety and Security section contains administrative policy and procedure documents that relate to the safety of the University community. Subjects include, but are not limited to, emergencies, conduct and behavior, threats and environmental safety.
These policies relate to the administrative and operational functions at the University of Indianapolis. Topics include, but are not limited to facilities and policy administration.
The Human Resources section contains policy and procedure documents that concern workplace issues at the university. Subjects include, but are not limited to, benefits, training, professional development and employee assistance.
The Finance section policies concern all University of Indianapolis financial operations. Areas include accounting; budgets; contracts and grants; insurance, loss control, and claims; licensing and trademarks; payroll; purchasing; travel; the treasury; and other financial functions.
