Building & facility access for students

Exterior door keys, other than for residence halls, are not issued to students. However, students are permitted to enter or remain in any building after hours if they have a building pass from the UIndy Police Department. Any student who needs to enter or remain in a building other than during its open hours should present a request for a specific day and time, in writing and signed by the professor, to the police office. Students may then be issued a building pass. Students must then present this pass, along with their student ID, to a UIndy police officer, who will then accompany the student to access the building. Building passes are issued Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Contact UIndy Police at 317-788-3333.
