Beverley Joyce Pitts
Current Position
The University of Indianapolis is a private, doctoral granting institution with 4,600 students in Indianapolis and 500 students on its branch campus in Athens, Greece. It has 2,600 undergraduate students in a residential, liberal arts setting, a division of adult learning, and a comprehensive graduate program including 22 master's programs and doctoral programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and clinical psychology. It is an NCAA Division II institution with 450 athletes participating in 22 intercollegiate sports. The Center for Excellence in Leadership for Learning supports education reform in K-12 education throughout Indiana, and the Center for Aging and Community provides research and policy advice to business and industry throughout Indiana on issues of the aging workforce.

Work involved development of scholarship program, design and implementation of research projects, and public relations consultation. Research studies, with Mark Popovich, included four national surveys of former NFL players.
