Transfer Student Orientation
The University of Indianapolis offers half-day orientation programs for incoming transfer students (students who have already studied at another college/university). Our Transfer Orientation Programs will provide new students with relevant information they will need to be successful, during their time at UIndy. While on campus, students will have the opportunity to receive their student ID card, sign-up for a parking permit, meet with an academic advisor, and register for their first semester of classes.
Is Orientation mandatory?
Yes, all new students are required to attend one Transfer Orientation Program. Transfer Orientation Programs will be held in April, May, June and July. Orientation days are mandatory because students meet with an academic advisor to review their materials and schedule their first semester coursework. Students will also receive their UIndy student ID during Orientation and complete other necessary campus business.
The Transfer Orientation Program consists of a half day of activities and meetings for new students. There is both a morning and an afternoon program, to accommodate students and their schedules. Be sure to check in on time. Special sessions are planned for students to answer questions regarding your tuition bill, financial aid, curriculum requirements and more. View the schedule ►
