Freshman Registration

Freshman students who have never studied at another college or university will attend one of UIndy's Summer Registration Days for orientation.

If you are planning to enroll for Fall 2017 and you have paid for tuition and/or housing deposit, you will be contacted by the Office of Admissions about your scheduled Registration Day.

Is Registration Day mandatory?

Yes, all new freshmen are required to attend one Registration Day. This day is mandatory because students meet with an academic advisor to review their materials and schedule their first-semester coursework. Students will also receive their UIndy Student ID on this day.

Registration Day schedule

Registration Day consists of a full day of activities and meetings for both new students and family members. Be sure to check in on time. The program will conclude at 4:30 p.m., with lunch provided. Special sessions are planned for both students and their guests to answer questions regarding your tuition bill, financial aid, curriculum requirements and more. View the complete schedule ►

Registration Day check-in & parking

Check-in for Registration Days will take place in Schwitzer Student Center. Please see the campus map for parking options. While all of the lots are open and available during the summer, parking lot 14 is conveniently located next to Schwitzer Student Center. When you arrive on campus, look for the Summer Registration Day signs to direct you.
