MSN Hospital Partnerships
UIndy has partnered with several area health care systems to provide nursing education, including on-site MSN programs and clinical experience.
Franciscan St. Francis Health
UIndy offers three of its MSN programs—Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education and Nursing & Health Systems Leadership—on-site at St. Francis' Indianapolis campus. The partnership allows cohorts of nurses from St. Francis' Indianapolis, Mooresville and Carmel hospitals to meet for classes and clinical experiences that fit their work schedules, and prepares nurses to meet patient needs in a rapidly changing health care environment.
UIndy has partnered with Indiana University Health and Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health to offer a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner master's degree, the only program of its kind in the state. The program includes clinical experience at Wishard Hospital, IU Health University Hospital and Riley’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the largest such unit in the state and one of the top-ranked NICUs in the nation, staffed by leading physicians in the field.
In addition to the neonatal program, UIndy also offers MSN programs in Nursing Education and Nursing & Health Systems Leadership and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at IU Health for nurses from its hospital facilities.
