Symposium Format and Deadline for Abstracts

E-mail your submission with proposal attached as a Word document to lin@uindy.edu. Hard copies or CDs should be mailed to Dr. Phylis Lan Lin, Symposium Chair, University of Indianapolis, 1400 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227, U.S.A.

Proposal or abstract should include:

1. Presenter information (name, mailing and e-mail addresses, phone & fax numbers)
2. Selected format of presentation (oral presentation, roundtable discussion, or workshop)
3. Title and affiliation (your institution or organization)
4. Proposal or abstract (in English, not to exceed 300 words)
5. Biographical data (in English, not to exceed 200 words)
6. Selected track, or four or five keywords
7. Indication of technological support needed

Deadline for submission of proposals: March 30, 2009

Format and Length of Presentation:
Select a format of presentation for each abstract as described on the abstract submission form.
— 30-minute presentation

• to include one or two presenters
• oral & visual with total combined time limit of 30 minutes

— 90-minute interactive workshop or panel

• to include one or more persons or a panel of no more than four persons
• must explain how the session will be interactive in order to be considered for acceptance

Poster
Poster presentations must be professional in appearance and should not exceed a three-foot by six-foot area of space.
