Special Dietary Needs

At UIndy Dining Services, we aim to provide a robust dining experience for all students, regardless of any dietary, allergen or access needs.

We have built our program on assembled- and made-to- order options, giving our students maximum flexibility to have entrees built their way, every day.

We offer a full salad bar and a variety of fresh fruits and veggies are available at each meal, along with lower fat and calorie items like baked fish, grilled chicken and vegetarian and vegan options. Plus, all foods are cooked with trans fat-free ingredients. To get the freshest food possible (and to keep UIndy’s carbon footprint small), UIndy Dining Services buys local produce, meat and dairy products as often as possible, including locally grown turkey, locally produced dairy, locally baked bread and locally produced soy cooking oil.

We also offer nutrition information and label the eight major allergens present for the items we serve in the dining program.

If you do have food allergies or other special dietary restrictions, we'll be happy to work with you to ensure food is available to meet your needs. We have a strong culinary team and a team of Registered Dietitians who can help meet your specific dietary needs.

Please take a moment to introduce yourself to our team or email Steven Conners, General Manager, at sconners@uindydining.com, or Jason Crouch, Executive Chef, at jcrouch@uindydining.com, if you would like to learn more about ways we can accommodate your needs.
