Special Dietary Needs

At UIndy Dining Services, we aim to provide a robust dining experience for all students, regardless of any dietary or allergen needs.

We have built our program on assembled- and made-to- order options, giving our students maximum flexibility to have entrees built their way, every day.

We offer a full salad bar and a variety of fresh fruits and veggies are available at each meal, along with lower fat and calorie items like baked fish, grilled chicken and vegetarian and vegan options. Plus, all foods are cooked with trans fat-free ingredients. To get the freshest food possible (and to keep UIndy’s carbon footprint small), UIndy Dining Services buys local produce, meat and dairy products as often as possible, including locally grown turkey, locally produced dairy, locally baked bread and locally produced soy cooking oil.

If you do have food allergies or other special dietary restrictions, we'll be happy to work with you to ensure food is available to meet your needs. We have a strong culinary team onsite who can customize meet your needs, and a team of Registered Dietitians as resources who can help meet your specific needs.
