What We Do

The Community Programs Center of the University of Indianapolis is a resource center for students, faculty, and staff involved in community volunteer programs, service learning, community partnerships, and community-based learning. It exists to provide:

information and opportunities for service learning placements and volunteer opportunities
information on grants for service learning projects and course development
forms for recording volunteer hours on academic transcripts
descriptions of service learning courses
assistance in identifying and developing community partnerships
planning and development for community-based learning programs
resources and materials on service learning, community partnerships, and community-based learning programs here and elsewhere
information on syllabi and best practices
