Going Beyond Learning Languages
The Global Languages & Cross-Cultural Studies Department at UIndy offers a B.A. in Spanish Language and Culture, a minor in Spanish, and a graduate certificate in Applied Spanish Language and Culture. We also offer courses in French and German. In your studies, you’ll not only develop strong communication skills in the target language but also gain insight into the cultures, philosophies, and global perspectives connected to these languages.
Practical language experiences

Our faculty are here to help connect you with experiences that fit your goals, whether it's taking a course on translation, finding an internship in community outreach with a local organization, or participating in an international experience abroad.
