Intramural Sports

Have fun, stay fit, and build lasting friendships by participating in an intramural sport at UIndy.  Our structured programs promote teamwork and mutual respect. Participation is open to all current UIndy students.

What's offered:

UIndy offers several intramural sports each semester that are a great way to meet friends and stay active.

Fall

Flag football (men's and women's leagues)
Dodgeball (co-ed)
Sand volleyball (co-ed)
Volleyball (women & co-ed)

Winter/Spring

Basketball (men's, women's & co-ed leagues)
Indoor soccer (co-ed)
Wiffleball (co-ed)

Team fee

Please note that a team fee of no more than $15 is required to participate in any of the intramural leagues listed above. The team fee helps purchase equipment for the Intramural Sports Program and pays for championship shirts for the winning team of each league.

Special events

Intramurals hosts a variety of special events throughout the academic year.  Events include a 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament, slam dunk tournament, softball tournament and more.  Events are free for all students.

Facilities

Ruth Lilly Fitness Center, the Athletic & Recreation Center (ARC) and Nicoson Hall are open every day of the week until midnight.  Students are invited to take advantage of this service for late night work-outs in the weight room, runs/walks/jogs around the track, or pick-up games.
