Intramural Sports

Have fun, stay fit and build lasting friendships by participating in an intramural sport at UIndy. Our structured programs promote teamwork and mutual respect. Participation is open to all current UIndy students.

What's offered:


  • Flag football (men's and women's leagues)
  • Sand volleyball (co-ed) (2v2 and 6v6 leagues available)
  • Indoor soccer (co-ed)


  • Basketball (men's, women's & co-ed leagues)
  • Volleyball (co-ed)

Team fee

Please note that a team fee of no more than $15 is required to participate in any of the intramural leagues listed above. The team fee helps purchase equipment for the Intramural Sports Program and pays for championship shirts for the winning team of each league.

Friday night leagues

Intramurals will host smaller team sport intramural games on Friday nights. Games will be hosted from 7-10 p.m. and there is a team fee of $5 for all sports. 

2016-2017 Friday night leagues include:


  • 5v5 Ultimate frisbee (co-ed)
  • 2v2 Badminton (co-ed)
  • 3v3 Basketball (co-ed)


  • 3v3 Volleyball (co-ed)
  • 5v5 Wiffle ball (co-ed)


Ruth Lilly Fitness Center, the Athletic & Recreation Center (ARC) and Nicoson Hall are open every day of the week until midnight. Students are invited to take advantage of this service for late night workouts in the weight room, runs/walks/jogs around the track, or pick-up games.
