More than 30 years of experience as an educator and academic administrator in both undergraduate and graduate business programs. Has worked with all types of students, from college freshmen to Disney managers and has won several teaching awards. His research has been published in the Journal of Behavioral Finance, the Journal of Macroeconomics, the Journal of Financial Education, and other academic journals. He also reviews research for a number of professional journals. National expert on the startup, structure, management and evaluation of student-managed investment programs and has discussed them in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and the Chronicle of Higher Education.

Recipient of the School of Business Dean's Award (1987) and was University of Indianapolis Teacher of the Year (1999).
