Bill Ehret brings 33 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young, most recently as a co-founder and partner with Cushman & Wakefield/Summit in Indianapolis. He launched Summit Realty Group in 1993 before spearheading its move to the Cushman & Wakefield Alliance in 2002. Ehret grew his Indianapolis operation from five to 75 members, enabling it to become one of the top 15 commercial real estate firms in the U.S. Midwest. He also served on the Cushman and Wakefield Alliance Executive Committee from 2006 to 2014.

Ehret started his commercial real estate career as a researcher with a leading Indianapolis company before becoming a broker and executive. During his career, he has gained considerable expertise in the Indianapolis office market, particularly within the downtown core, while representing such clients as Equity Office Properties, Dow Chemical, Dow AgroSciences, Milliman, USA, Krieg DeVault, LLP, USA Football and USA Gymnastics. He has garnered numerous awards, including: Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors Realtor of the Year (2011); Midwest Commercial Real Estate Magazine Hall of Fame (2011); Indianapolis Business Journal Who’s Who in Commercial Real Estate (2003 and 2011); NAIOP Broker Transaction of the Year (2009); SIOR Largest Dollar Volume Transaction – Office (2004); and CoStar Group Indianapolis Power Broker (2005-2014).

A member of Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) since 1989, Ehret is also active with many civic and business organizations, including Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority (CIRTA) and ARC of Indiana. From 2011 to 2013, he served on Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business/Benecki Center for Real Estate Studies advisory board. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Indiana University.

Ryan Gallmeyer

As vice president of production operations, Ryan holds the responsibility for overall management of medium to large scale mixed-use and multi-family projects including site design, entitlements and project management of all development activities. Ryan brings over 20 years of experience in construction and project management. Prior to joining Buckingham, Ryan was a development manager for Scannell Properties, a project manager at Bowen Corporation, and the director of development operations for Lauth Property Group. Ryan is a registered professional engineer and real estate broker with the State of Indiana. He received his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Purdue University, and his Masters in Business Administration of finance from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business.

Background
I worked three part-time jobs and raised a family during law school (sold homes and was a law clerk for two superior courts). I have paid off over $100,000 dollars in student loan debt. Eventually started a commercial real estate brokerage firm, and found my way to a fantastic legal mentor. My first development projects were for clients and typically involved brown fields and low-lying sites.

Mark Hedegard

Mark has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He began his career in real estate with Simon Property Group, involved in the administrative, management and development arms of the company, helping it grow from a privately held real estate company into an S&P 500 company that is the largest public real estate company in the United States. He is an accomplished executive with broad experience in operations, strategic planning, management, development and enhancement of investment assets. Mark was also Senior Director of Business Development for the Indianapolis Airport Authority, responsible for the airport authority’s property, parking, retail and land use development. Mr. Hedegard has an extensive background in managing diverse business units and large portfolios of commercial real estate. He has a B.S. degree from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis and has studied/worked overseas in Denmark and Brazil.

Career summary
Mr. Martin is a Director in the Indianapolis office of HFF with more than eight years of commercial real estate experience. Throughout his career he has completed more than $2.1 billion worth of real estate transactions. Mr. Martin specializes in the disposition, financing and re-capitalization of investment real estate.

Mr. Martin joined the firm in May 2010. Prior to joining HFF, he was a Director in the Capital Markets Group at Scannell Properties. Rob Martinson plays a lead role in developing long term relationships with debt and equity partners for Annex Student Living. As CIO, Martinson is responsible for overseeing all investment opportunities, managing and monitoring the organization’s portfolio, and developing strategies for growth. He is particularly interested in finding innovative ways to partner with public entities and private institutions to provide quality housing and amenities to further attract and retain the best students, researchers and faculty.

Throughout his career, he has worked on over fifty projects and transactions totaling more than $300 million including retail, office, industrial, flex, self-storage, multifamily and student housing. Martinson has over ten years of real estate experience spanning a broad range of roles including construction, project management, owner representation, financial analysis and development.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also an active participant in Urban Land Institute events and is pursuing his CCIM designation.

Michael P. McCarty is a research professional with more than thirty-five years of experience in market research and real estate development.

In 2009, McCarty joined Gentleman Associates, a market research consulting firm which was founded in 1988 by Karen Gentleman. The company is being re-branded as Gentleman McCarty, and has added a rich history of real estate experience to its consumer research background. Gentleman McCarty’s client list includes most of the country’s leading shopping center developers, a number of downtown organizations, several leading financial institutions, a number of large hospital systems and various non-profit and government organizations.

Prior to joining Gentleman McCarty, Michael McCarty was Senior Vice President of Research and Corporate Communications at Simon Property Group, the nation’s largest publicly-traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). In his 26 years with Simon Property Group, McCarty established a research function that is respected within the shopping center industry as the industry leader. This research function supported all areas within Simon Property Group, including Development, Leasing, Marketing, Property Management and Capital Markets.

In addition to Research, McCarty managed the company’s Investor Relations department. This responsibility involved significant contact with investors, Wall Street analysts and rating firms. McCarty was part of a small team of top officers who were responsible for Simon Property Group’s successful Initial Public Offering in December, 1993. McCarty was also responsible for Partnership Relations for Simon Property Group, which involved managing the relationship between Simon and its joint venture partners.

McCarty started his career at May Department Store Company in St. Louis, Missouri. He also held research positions at Federated Department Stores in Cincinnati, Ohio (now known as Macy’s) and the former Homart Development Company (a subsidiary of Sears).

He received both his MBA and BBA from the University of Wisconsin. McCarty was a long-standing member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a past chairman of the ICSC’s Research Advisory Task Force. McCarty was also Vice President and a Trustee of the ICSC Foundation. He was a full member of the Urban Land Institute and served on the Commercial and Retail Development Council.


Chris Myrvold

Chris Myrvold’s responsibilities include managing and monitoring all accounting functions, financial reporting, strategic planning/budgeting, financing, investment analysis investor/lender relations, and risk management. Chris has been involved in over $2 billion in real estate transactions including development, acquisitions, financings and dispositions. His role is to take each project and meticulously plan and execute on the optimal financing options available in order to maximize investors’ risk adjusted returns. In addition, Chris worked as a senior member for several years with PricewaterhouseCoopers serving privately held and public companies, including clients in the real estate industry.

Mike Patarino is currently Senior Vice President of Keystone Realty Group and Keystone Construction Group. His over 30-year career in the construction industry includes, employment with some of Indiana's largest architectural, construction and real estate development firms. Mike's over $1 billion in project experience includes a distinctive merger of know-how in commercial development, design, pre-construction, construction, contracts and business development. He uses his unique acumen to develop new projects, lead and coach project teams, manage risks, develop and train processes and exceed client and company expectations along the complete journey of a building project.

Mike earned an Associate degree in architecture from Vincennes University, a bachelor degree in political science from Ball State University and . Juris Doctorate degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He has been a member of the Indiana Bar since 1992.

Doug Singleton is Vice President of Asset Management for Singleton Associates, LLC. In that capacity, he oversees leasing, property management and development/re-development of an approximately 2,000,000 square foot retail portfolio located primarily in the Indianapolis MSA. Throughout his career, Doug has been and continues to be involved in the transformational redevelopment of retail properties.

Previously, Doug worked for Jones Lang LaSalle as a Transaction Manager. In that capacity, he oversaw all property transactions for Bank of America’s bank branch portfolio in the Upper Midwest. He also developed and executed a retail branch disposition strategy for properties in the Central and Western regions of the United States. Prior to beginning his career in commercial real estate, he served as a Presidential Appointee in the U.S. Department of State in the Office of the Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security.

Doug obtained his BS in International Politics with a concentration in Security Studies from the Georgetown University Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He earned his MBA with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Doug is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers.
