Getting Involved
Do you sing or play an instrument?
Are you a non-music major interested in participating in the Music Departments ensembles? Non-major music grants of $2,000 are available, by audition, for qualified students. Recipients are expected to enroll in two or more ensembles and take private lessons on the instrument (or voice) each semester. These scholarships are available per academic year, and are renewable for up to four years on the recommendation of the ensemble directors. Recipients of choral ensemble grants are expected to enroll in Voice Class during the first semester in lieu of private voice lessons. Ensemble credit may be 0.5 or 1.0, it is your choice.

Fitting In
Volunteer or join one of the more than 50 registered students organizations (RSO) on campus, there is something for everyone. See where you fit in.
Become an Ambassador
Each year a volunteer group of students are selected to help the Office of Admissions with various visitation activities. These Greyhound Ambassadors help give campus tours to prospective families, take students to class or to lunch, assist with special campus visit programs, sit on student panels, etc. Selection is based
on enthusiasm for UIndy, positive attitude, poise, academic credentials, and availability.
Those interested in applying for the position of Greyhound Ambassador should download the following application form and return it to the Office of Admissions. Marylynne Winslow, Associate Director of Admissions, will contact students selected for interviews. After interviews, all selected Greyhound Ambassadors will participate in an orientation program.
