UIndy has extensive international relationships that promote awareness, appreciation and understanding of other cultures. UIndy students have many opportunities to study abroad. We have accredited partnerships with Ningbo Institute of Technology in China and Galen University in the Central American nation of Belize. UIndy also recently developed an International College with Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages, located in the city of Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province of China.
UIndy has a site in Athens, Greece. From this location, we offer master's degree programs on a contract basis with clients around the world, including universities, businesses and governments. For example, we currently have a partnership with Yanbu Industrial College in Saudi Arabia to offer our Executive MBA program.
Ningbo Institute of Technology
Ningbo Institute of Technology, which is part of Zhejiang University in the Zhejiang Province of China, offers joint programs with UIndy in the areas of business and English language study. After completing two years at NIT, students have the option of studying on the UIndy campus for your final two years. If students don't travel to the United States, they may finish their final two years at NIT, with six of the courses being taught by UIndy faculty.
Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages
UIndy's newest partner school is Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages in the city of Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province of China. ZYUFL admitted its first class of students to the UIndy International College in 2011. The students will complete a 3-year associate's degree in China, which includes English-intense courses and UIndy curriculum. They then have the option to transfer to UIndy for two additional years to complete a bachelor's degree. Students can study Applied English, Information Systems, Management & Administration or Operations Management through this partnership.
Galen University is an independent, community-oriented university in Belize, with sustainable development as one its core values. The university is named in honor of the Greek scholar and physician Galen.
With its waterways, rain forests and ancient Mayan ruins, Belize makes an ideal location for the study of archeology, anthropology and environmental science -- three of the undergraduate programs that UIndy offers there. Students also can choose from four undergraduate business majors: economics and finance, marketing, business administrations and international business.
UIndy programs at Galen fall under the University of Indianapolis accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. After completing coursework and degree requirements, students receive a UIndy transcript and diploma.
UIndy also has intellectual partnerships with sister institutions in South Africa, Cyprus, Taiwan and China. These relationships allow for the exchange of faculty members and students, as well as special projects such as conferences, workshops and study-travel experiences.
